  1. Morgan, It is so nice to see how successful you are becoming. I am a science teacher in the United States. I was researching some material for a Lego video that I would like to produce with my classes. We are entering a coal fair and will be using the gold mining series to create a coal mining community. My students are your age, and I would very much like to show them your work. What I would really love is to get in touch with you and perhaps speak with you about producing Lego films. Maybe you could record a video for us with some tips and helpful hints that I could show to them. It would be a very positive motivator for my students. We won our coal fair last year by making a scale model train, but I wanted to do something different this year. We hope to win again with a project of this caliber. Keep up the good work and I am so glad that you’ve found your mark!

      Hello Angus,

Thanks for your kind words and I’m glad you like my films! I had a look at your awesome blog post and I’m happy for you to use the picture and name. I agree, stop-motion is an excellent way to get children into filming and is something that i’m sure your cubs & beavers would enjoy! Any other questions don’t hesitate to contact me. And yes I’m a Scout at 1st Kilbarchan troop!

Hi! I have only just seen your videos! They are really good and detailed! I make lego animations too! On your Apocolypse animation, what did you use to make the fire effects? They look really good!

Hello George, Thanks! I’m glad you like my films! Could you send me the link to your videos? For the effects in Lego Apocalypse I used a basic green screen effect with royalty free explosion clips. I then edited them in to the films and overlayed them onto the shots.

      Thanks,

      Morgan
